Do not spam the like button. This usually happens when liking too many posts in a very small interval.

Ah, I get what you mean, it's a common bug. It also happens when playing RPS, sometimes it assumes you're doing an action too many times, when this happens, ctrl+f5 the page and like again, if it still shows rate limited, just f5 and try it out. It didn't happen to me long time ago, but recently yes.
