Wifi deauth usually requires a USB wifi adapter. That is not the case for Macbooks tho, since they have a built-in wireless card that allows this and much more.

1) Disconnect from your wifi clicking on Deauth
2) Click scan to scan for networks
3) Choose the network (can be multiple) to "attack" and click monitor
4) Choose the victims

This will keep them disconnected from the network as long as you want.

EDIT: so this will not allow to join other wifi network, only to disconnect people from other networks if i got it right
