After being scammed by some vendors, I think it's an excellent idea for all sellers (selling products/service above let's say $20) to post a vendor bond with the forum admin equaling 2x-3x the item price. In case of a service, it can be a flat $200 or $500 vendor bond.
This vendor bond should be kept by the admin in escrow, and only used to resolve any future scam accusations for the seller. In case seller decides to close his shop/thread, he can announce the same in his thread and after a grace period (say a week) and no scam accusations, this vendor bond should be fully refunded back to the seller.
