Is there anyway I could use an older vm for hypothetical online activities, no bs some shit like windows 95 or something to that matter.

it's certainly not recommended but you could follow a guide online and install all the security patches. the latest browser I think is Firefox 45 for windows 98 if you wanted some browser recommendations, you have to do some patching before it installs properly though! good luck
side note but awesome emulator for Windows 95 available in browser here: https://archive.org/details/win95_in_dosbox if you just wanted to try it out |
