  • 1. If it's too good to be true, IT IS!! STAY AWAY (PayPal transfers, bank transfers, credit cards, if they are selling money for less money, it's fake)

    2. Stay the fuck away from CP you disgusting fuck. If you are here to learn how to get CP I hope you die in a fire you fucking freak. If you get caught with CP they will throw the book at your degenerate ass.

    3. Trust nobody, even the most trusted sellers/markets can exit scam easily due to the anonymous nature of the DW

    4. Don't use any real personal info EVER unless in an order from a trusted seller

    5. ALWAYS disable javascript, don't ask, just do it



    Good things to know:

    1. I recommend using dark.fail and Dread forums (Dread is like the Reddit of the DW)

    2. All those link lists like thehiddenwiki are fake. They target DW newbies and try to take advantage of them, 99% of the links on these lists are scams

    3. As mentioned above, basically anything on the "first layer of the onion" is fake, or you should at least treat it with suspicion, it shouldn't be easy

    4. Use protonmail for privacy, don't use anything that could hint at your personal info, no initials, no dates, just use random stuff, not even your usernames from clearnet



    The process:

    1. Many guides tell you to use TOR browser app on Windows, but if you want to do some sketchy stuff it's better practice to max out your safety

    2. If you are just browsing safe stuff, nothing sketchy, TOR is ok, otherwise use Tails (info in-depth in PDF)

    3. Install Tails onto a USB, there are many guides on Youtube, make sure you are using most updated version of Tails always

    4. Everything will be done with cryptocurrency. Never PayPal, don't even expect anything with PayPal on the DW unless you want to get scammed

    5. Read the PDF, make sure you know how to tumble your bitcoin and how to set up a wallet on Tails, etc



    Simplified explanation:

    It is a bit confusing since there is such heavy security. I will try to explain a little bit to help you understand better

    TOR browser for Windows is ok if you don't buy anything and just browse regular people stuff.

    Tails is an OS built for maximum privacy, it wipes all your data everytime you boot it. You can have it save some personal stuff though like your bitcoin wallet, downloaded apps, etc for convenience, I suggest using the persistent drive as little as possible

    Lots of scammers, watch your back always, everyone is anonymous so it's very easy to scam

    No need for VPN, Tails will do everything for you, just boot it up and launch TOR browser

    PGP keys: you don't need to know much about this, it just ensures security. Look it up if you want, otherwise just follow instructions when it comes up

    You will need to do your own research on how to find stuff, especially for the very dark stuff

    If it were easy, anybody could do it, law enforcement included (ties back to the first layer of the onion scams like thehiddenwiki)
