Hi everyone,

So i have seen allot of people that are being tricked into scams here and then right after
they go and make a thread that they have been scammed.
And that they have lost their money.
In most cases if you are scammed you will not see that money back anymore.

Today i decided to help out a little and give some simple advice to new and hopefully some expert buyers
when you are making a deal.

1. Always confirm on the forum via PM that you are dealing with that person

Confirm with the seller what type of messenger you will use to keep contact

2. When sending a PM to other users, tell them why you are contacting them and what its about

3. If you want to buy goods or a service from a seller, make sure that the terms of the deal are very clear to both party's

4. Never send large amounts of money to sellers at once

I know that sellers want to sell their stuff as fast as possible and with highest amount,
but don't be fooled here. You are the customers and you should be respected because you are the one buying.
Never let the seller pressure or rush you into buying.

5. Ask the seller if its possible to make payment in smaller amounts

Basically to chop the large amount into smaller amounts

Example: You want to buy something for $100

Instead of sending payment at once, pay it in parts, like 10, 25, or 50
After every part in payment you should get your good or service in parts
That will make you much less vulnerable to getting scammed and lose all your money at once

But its not 100%  anti scam proof
And sure there are cheapskates that will scam for a few bucks, but if you use these tips,
your money is more safe than before

If the sellers says no, then you should avoid dealing with that person
There are plenty of other sellers that have good reputation

6. Make sure to always keep logs and screenshots/video of your conversations in case you do get scammed

Its for your own safety
This is basically like making a contract wit the seller.

7. Make the deal on your own terms, not what the sellers is telling you

Like i said before, you are the buyer and you should be treated with respect
If seller is smart he should have no problems with this
But if he is being annoying, disrespectful and starts to call you stupid names,
you should avoid that person immediately

I know this because i have made many deals with allot of sellers here and also on other places.
Even the best and most careful person can be scammed sometimes, But these tips will hopefully
give you some protection.

(New) Sellers should be put on notice that is the new Standard when making a deal
Both partys, the buyer and seller should agree not to scam anyone and not get scammed either

If you like this, please share it when you make a deal
So that you know that you are aware

I will keep updating this thread whenever possible, but for now i want to share this helpful tips with you.
And hopefully you will be more careful when making new deals.

If you like this thread give it some love

Thank you

I've moved the thread to Marketplace discussions so it's easier for buyers to find it.

Thank you, Ulysses !  10/10 Heart
