How do the positions of pinned threads get calculated?

Hey guys,

So I paid to get pinned for the refunding section and for some reason I have been the very last dude pinned (like on the second page, because there are a lot of pins).

I was curious on how the positions of pinned posts are calculated? How can I get up the ladder and get pinned higher up?

It is calculated base on how long your pin is . To get pinned higher of course you need to pay more to get longer expiration.
