I've been looking for an answer to this but haven't found one. Many checkers or configs mention that they use a "VM" but I'm not sure what that means. I understand that a VM usually refers to a virtual machine, like VirtualBox, but I'm unclear if that's the same in the context of these configs/checkers or how it relates to them.
Can someone clarify what it means for a config to have a "VM inbuilt"? If it is indeed a "virtual machine," how does it connect to these configs? What is the purpose of using it in configs?
