my friend is using the hp pavilion 17-cd0355ng and everything seems to run smoothly on there.
or maybe check out some reviews online or use sites like versus.com to compare different laptops.

I'm not sure what you have against Dell, but honestly their laptops are quite good, and Alienware laptops are much better quality that most.

That being said theres Razer, MSI stealth series, ASUS has quite a variety including new amd cpu based gaming laptops.

I don't have any against dell it's just they seem a little overpriced and their bios is a little stingy for booting stuff from usb. Like i booted an os from a lenovo laptop and it worked, and when i used dell i had to configure the settings for it work. Plus their build quality is an issue, like they use plastic instead of metal. But you do have a point and yes their alienware laptops are good, but i don't feel like those alienware laptops are what they used to be before. Because Dell is a corporate company they probably didn't want to give alienware the freedom to make their products superior like they used to be. Plus i will definitely check out razer, msi stealth, and asus. Asus got a motherboards and I'll probably check out their gaming laptops too.
