[Discussion] What are your thoughts on Undertale?

I've just gotten Undertale and started playing, I've just now gotten to meet Undyne and i know there's a lot more story to go afterwards, But my question is, is it worth it?

I've on purposely stayed away from watching others play it much to not ruin it for myself, So I'm not really looking for any spoilers or anything, I'd just like to know if the story and everything is worth it, Or is it just a lot of time and reading for nothing?
