DWC, REFUSING to use MM @xorbx

Background: 

Asked this guy for some dev services. Agreed on price of 500/600, i cant rlly rmbr. 
Told us he will try to find a work-around but he needs a deposit of 250, he told us that if he couldn't find a work around he would refund deposit 

We said no, mm can hold deposit or the entire payment and only release when project is completed according to our requirements 

Started telling us that he needs a direct deposit to start working.???? - Lie htf does this make sense? why cant an mm hold the deposit or the lump sum payment LOL. And this guy isnt even running a team of devs, he himself is the dev.. So it cant be because he needs to pay his workers.

The entire situation started when he asked me to patch a Windows Kernel .dll. I made it clear that without a deposit, I wasn't going to begin work. Every serious client I've had has always provided at least a small deposit before I start — this is standard practice. If the deposit had been made and I wasn't able to get the patch working, he would have been refunded in full.

He wasted two hours of my time going in circles. At no point did I refuse a middleman, but the person he wanted to use wasn't even a staff-approved MM. As per the rules:
Rule: 8) Middleman services are prohibited. All trades requiring a middleman will be handled by a member of our team.

My username item alone is worth $150. For a $1,000 transaction, asking for a $100 deposit isn't unreasonable — and I certainly wasn't going to "exit" as he implied. I've put more than the deposit into my account alone.

Throughout this, I've remained civil and professional, while he’s been hostile, throwing accusations and threats instead of actually working toward a solution.

Later, he messaged me saying he'd open a DWC because of the reputation I left him. That reputation is valid, accurate, and justified.

This thread adds no value. You're upset over receiving a simple -6 rep. Cry me a river, accept the feedback, and stop messaging me to change it.
