CryptoVault Auditor Pro is a cross-platform security tool designed to test the strength of cryptocurrency brainwallets — wallets generated from user‑supplied passphrases. It performs a controlled dictionary audit, derives the corresponding private keys and blockchain addresses, and checks live balances via public APIs.
The tool is strictly for authorised testing of wallets you own or have explicit written permission to audit. It exists to help individuals and organisations identify weak or compromised keys before malicious actors do.

How It Works
Ethical & Legal BoundariesThis tool is not intended for unauthorised access.
Unauthorised use against wallets you do not own is illegal in most jurisdictions and violates the tool's single‑purpose design.
The author assumes no liability for misuse; you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws.
Why This MattersBrainwallets remain a persistent vulnerability because humans choose predictable passphrases. While the industry has moved toward hardware wallets and BIP39 seeds with high entropy, legacy funds are still at risk.
CryptoVault Auditor Pro gives defenders a way to proactively identify and retire weak keys. It turns an old attack method into a responsible auditing practice.

The tool is strictly for authorised testing of wallets you own or have explicit written permission to audit. It exists to help individuals and organisations identify weak or compromised keys before malicious actors do.
Capabilities
- Dictionary‑based audit — Load any plaintext wordlist; each line is processed as a candidate passphrase.
- Multi‑blockchain support — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, and TRON. Easily extensible.
- Live balance verification — Real‑time queries to blockchain.info (BTC) and Etherscan (ETH) with built‑in rate limiting and caching.
- Professional GUI — Tkinter with Sun Valley theming, providing a clean, dark interface with live result tables, a logging console, and JSON export.
- Asynchronous architecture — Non‑blocking I/O ensures the UI remains responsive during audits.
How It Works
- Passphrase → Private Key
Each passphrase is hashed using SHA‑256 (the standard brainwallet method) to produce a 64‑character hexadecimal private key.
- Private Key → Addresses
The key is passed to blockchain‑specific derivation libraries to generate public addresses.
- Address → Balance
Addresses are sent to public blockchain explorers. Any address with a non‑zero balance is immediately highlighted in the results table.
