Amazon fires: Brazil bans fire for land clearance for 60 days

Brazil has banned setting fires to clear land for 60 days in response to a massive increase in the number of fires in the Amazon rainforest.

The decree was signed by President Jair Bolsonaro, who has faced intense criticism at home and abroad for failing to protect the rainforest.
A leading Brazilian environmentalist warned on Wednesday that the "worst of the fire is yet to come".
South American countries will meet next week to discuss the crisis.
It remains unclear what impact the ban will have, as environmentalists say the overwhelming majority of forest clearance in the Brazilian Amazon is already illegal and enforcement is lax. :fuck:

Yes, I know this story also. Well things happen and adequate reaction should be a must. In Pakistan that place was sand only, I saw an article before after, such a beauty!. Even tough I travel a lot, I see many places I want to invest for my retirement and place of pure relaxation. I was in South America like Brazil, Argentina and Peru. To travel good to live not and by this land plots in India I saw land for sale in Indians village that are monitored and was interested  to check prices and how it works, it was something new to me. When I found out their proposal I thought I could sell my house and live there as a King, only need to purchase a mini clinic there that I could afford also.
