On the France version of the store it says that they track the IMEI/SN to every order and if lost/refunded they might disable it.
It doesn't say anything like that on the German version.

Does anyone know what's up with that? Are they lying about having access to each IMEI just to scare refunders, and if they really track them, why doesn't the German version also do this?

I was also wondering this. 
At UK store they even say they'll ban SONOS speakers if someone steals them with an external party database... but I actually doubt they have time to do this.
The system is weird anyways since an order from NL store is more expensive than at the DE store, but both items come from same IT warehouse.... their whole thing just dont make sense.

I wanna do this with iPhone too but dont wanna end up with a brick
