Hey everyone. Before reading, I'd like to clarify that this doesn't always work, and it may never work for you, but it has worked for me multiple times which is why I would like to share it here.

Certain small-time companies on amazon, specifically computer part companies really don't like having negative reviews on their products, especially when you completely embarrass the entire product; so much so that they'll refund you.

The first time this SE worked for me was accidental, because I just genuinely had an issue with my product and left them a berating review. To my surprise, the company responded within a day asking if I would like a full refund, where I didn't have to send any product back to them. I'm sure you already get the idea.  Smart

Using this knowledge that they'll refund you if you really didn't like their product or if they gave you a faulty product, I tried it again. To my surprise, it worked again! A full refund for an issue that never occurred. I didn't have to send any photo evidence or anything, just used my words.

I did specifically target the same brand that had given me the option for refund the first time because I had a feeling they were one of the only companies in the market to do that, as I had never seen that before.

That's why this might be low chance, and considering so I would not recommend trying to do this on expensive items you don't want, just in case the company doesn't give a fuck about you and your 'faulty' product.
