Depends , the os is really good for working , for gaming / mining they are a total disaster if you dont make a hackingtosh , on windows they dont have good performance , the macs with intel gpus mostly get really hot , they are good for work , not good for other things

Well my friend, MacBook's are good yes, but overall what will you be using it for? That is the real question. If you use it for school or just for a normal laptop use then yeah it will be good considering the specs are quite decent on them. My friend uses his for music editing and the mac apps. I hope this helped somewhat.
