Hey. I've seen many giveaways that never ended because they were forgotten by the thread owner.
As giveaways do not usually last more than 1 month to finish, I suggest a system which sends a reminder to the thread owner on the main page (index), 1 month after he started the thread.
The reminder must appear in the index since a part of the users do not check their notifications / PM's, thus leaving the reminder in oblivion. This could have a message which asks the user if he finished the giveaway.
I think it could appear in red, above the message of the "phoenix keylogger" or in any other spot that is available...
If thread owner forgets about there giveaway they deserve temp ban
Don't think a system like this is needed, just don't host giveaways if there's no intention to pay out.

I don't think a tempban is necessary. We all forget things
I came up with this idea as @Hans69 did a giveaway a while ago and he completely forgot about it. (I reminded him by sb).
It is not necessarily the fact of not giving the award intentionally. There are people in this forum who are very busy and they just forget it as I think was the case with Hans.
