Performance ?
Here at Exploit VPN, all of our servers are dedicated servers compared to other providers which are usually offering LXC/KVM virtual machines usually on a shared node.
What that means for you (the consumer) is that these virtual machines will usually have much lower specs so they will have issues handling large amounts of people.
Another thing to acknowledge is that other people on the node are probably also using the already low network capacity.
This means that you will get slower download and upload speeds opposed to our dedicated servers.
DDoS Protection ?
Other providers often claim to have DoS protection which is usually ambiguous. Their DoS protection is often so ineffective that you won't even notice the server has any protection at all.
Our DoS mitigation uses real time analysis of traffic sent by other devices in over 300 protocols within the network and transport layer of the osi and can filter this
traffic in numbers as large as 4 tb/s theoretically.
Exploit Protection ?
Now, with all dos mitigation there is a possibility for mitigation bypasses. Here at Exploit VPN we thought about this and made two efforts to curb the threat as much as we could.
The first step we took was to buy the biggest network capacity possible from our server provider which is 10gb/s.This straight forward fix has worked well since most bypasses
against our server provider only ranges from 150mb/s-1.5gb/s since that is 1.5 times the network capacity of 90% of servers from our provider which won't effect us as its only
a measly percentage of our 10gb/s port which will take up to 15gb/s (1.5 formula) before even beginning to see major lag. The second step we took was to add short, but efficient
iptable rules to drop the packets as soon as possible as to prevent them from sticking in transit and causing more issues.
